DiCon was founded in 1986 in the California San Francisco Bay Area as a fiber optic switch component manufacturer. After four decades of organic growth, the company has developed into a very strong supplier that provides standard and custom fiber optic solutions, especially with components made with MEMS technology.

In 2002, DiCon started a LED (solid state lighting) business unit and focused on making high power, efficiently cooled, multicolor, multi-control, and tightly packed chip clusters, known as Dense Matrix LED. With this proprietary platform, DiCon started designing lighting fixtures under 3 separate lighting brands for different professional markets. After 20+ years of relentless effort in technology, product, and market development, DiCon’s lighting brands have established extensive global sales networks and are recognized internationally.
